Showing 2010 prices: “Not offered” marks equipment that wasn’t on that year’s order sheet, which is different from a price we haven’t sourced.

Background

The 2009 revision introduced direct fuel injection to the flat-six and replaced the Tiptronic torque-converter automatic with PDK, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 3.6- and 3.8-litre displacements carried over for the Carrera and Carrera S.

The GTS joined the range as a Carrera positioned between the S and the GT3, combining the wider body of the all-wheel-drive cars with rear-wheel drive — a formula the model has kept since.

The generation carries a dense set of limited models, including the Sport Classic, the Speedster, and the GT3 RS 4.0, whose engine was the largest naturally aspirated flat-six fitted to a road-going 911 to that point.
